Determining the Client's Needs and Expectations
Projects typically begin in our showroom, in Warsaw or Gdańsk – it is in these locations that our clients share their vision with us. Some dream of a large kitchen island, while others seek ways to make functional use of limited space. It is at this stage that we establish aspects of the project such as the number of people using the kitchen, what functions beyond cooking it should fulfill, and what appliances need to be incorporated.
A thorough understanding of the client's needs is the only way to fully create a kitchen design that matches the household's lifestyle. Majewski Kitchens and Interiors has its own carpentry workshop, distinguished by the ability to lacquer fronts multiple times, as well as comprehensive service without intermediaries.

Ergonomics – The Main Foundation of Comfort
A custom modern kitchen must meet a fundamental requirement – it must be functional. In our company, we apply the "work triangle" principle, which can be seen in the projects available in our showroom. It involves the proper placement of the sink, cooktop, and refrigerator to minimize movement during cooking. We also ensure appropriate countertop heights, cabinet depths tailored to users' heights, and hidden organizational systems in cabinets and drawers.
The proper approach to all these factors ensures that the kitchen design makes it not only beautiful, but above all comfortable for everyday use.
The Next Stage – Island, Peninsula, or U/L Shape?
The next stage, selecting the appropriate kitchen layout for the space, determines whether we opt for a kitchen with an island, a kitchen peninsula, or a U- or L-shaped kitchen. Each of these choices has its advantages, but should be properly tailored. Kitchens with islands are a very versatile choice, serving as a work zone, dining area, or gathering center.
A kitchen peninsula is better suited for apartments with limited space – it separates the kitchen from the living room while integrating both zones. A U- or L-shaped kitchen is a layout recommended for apartments and houses with a traditional floor plan. Its application guarantees comfortable movement during cooking and plenty of storage space. In our showroom, you can see what implementations of each of these layouts look like – this allows you to better visualize the functionality of each one.

Selection of Materials, Color Scheme, Style, and Function of Our Kitchen
Can you imagine anything more pleasant than selecting the color scheme for your new kitchen? At this stage, we primarily determine the type of materials used to create it, precisely select the color scheme, ultimately achieving excellent quality and functionality.
The most frequently chosen options at Majewski Kitchens and Custom Furniture are:
- matte or semi-matte lacquered fronts
- elegant, natural veneers
- countertops made of conglomerate, solid laminate, or quartz sinters
